Verni Sushi, located on Calle Cairo in Azcapotzalco, offers a unique twist on traditional sushi that has patrons raving. The intimate setting belies the explosive flavors and exceptional service that guests experience. Many, like Karen Armenta, laud the Mar y Tierra Max and Atascate Que Hay Lodo rolls for their inventive combinations. A standout dish is the Boneless BBQ, which customers note is generously portioned despite initial appearances.
Reviewers consistently highlight the quality of service as a defining characteristic of Verni Sushi, with many noting the owner's friendliness and attentiveness. Diners also adore the baked rolls and appreciate the option of Jamaican water to accompany their meals. Though there's a minor critique regarding the size of kushiages, overall feedback praises the delicious offerings and reasonable prices.
The Sinaloa-style sushi, as mentioned by Edith Carbajal, adds a special flair to their menu. Highlights also include the highly recommended Verni potatoes and the unique inclusion of grated carrots and surimi-stuffed chilies in their dishes. This hidden gem fosters a warm, friendly atmosphere perfect for enjoying a quiet meal. In all, Verni Sushi is a delightful culinary experience that should not be missed.

A different style eating sushi. One of the best decisions! Even though the place is small, the flavor and service is of the best quality We ordered, in rolls: MAR Y TIERRA MAX (115) and the ATASCATE QUE HAY LODO (130) Drinks: Jasmine tea (25) Recommended to Try the BONELESS BBQ (130), in the photo you can see a small portion because it was courtesy, but in reality they serve it very well They are a little hidden but I leave you a photo of what it looks like from the outside.

The rolls this place offers are delicious. My go-to is definitely the baked ones. I love that they have the Jamaican water option. I would only improve the kushiages a bit; I feel they're too small. The service is unbeatable.

A different concept (Sinaloa-style), but that's what gives it a very unique and special touch. Everything is delicious . I highly recommend the verni potatoes, they're delicious, the sushi, the boneless, everything! The service is super good, very friendly, and the place is super quiet for eating and enjoying a pleasant time.

The best sushi in the area, delicious. It includes grated carrots and a surimi-stuffed chili, which was also delicious. The lady who served us was super friendly. Reasonable prices.

Good place to eat sushi with a slightly different proposal as it is “northern” style, the ingredients are of high quality and everything is fresh. The staff is attentive and friendly, they also have alternatives if you don't like sushi, the place is pleasant and quiet. Recommended.
